What do you find on this site?
This site will provide you with all sorts of information about our OKAN students and their parents. For example, you can look for the coolest
foto's of the last trip, but you can also practise your Dutch in the virtual Linguator Club. You can also see which
courses and related subjects you may follow after the OKAN year. Moreover, we will answer many practical questions, such as:
- What do I need to bring along to register?
- When does the Easter holiday start?
- What are some of the subjects that are taught during the OKAN year?
- What can I do after the OKAN year?
- ...
All this information can help you to follow how the OKAN school year is organised and to look ahead at the next school year!
How do I navigate this site?
On top you can choose between various languages for this home page. This can help you to navigate through this website if it is your first visit. The other web pages are only available in Dutch!
Pupils
Via Leerlingen (pupils) you can visit the Oefenhoek (practice corner). Here, all sorts of interactive exercises are offered. You only need a login and password for the Linguator Club.
The link Agenda gives more information about the pupil’s timetable.
Visit Activiteiten (activities) if you want to find out more about school trips, such as the city walk, visit to the zoo, sport’s day, the 4-day stay by the seaside…
Under Foto's you will find all sorts of pictures (trips, projects...) of the current school year, but also of the previous school year!
During the OKAN school year, the pupils take a Snuffelstage. This is a visit to another classroom, possibly in a different school, of regular education. Here you can find more information and details, f. ex. about the timing of the visit and the school in question.
What can an OKAN pupil do after the OKAN-year? Do take a look here!
During the Schakeljaar (switch year) the former OKAN pupil continues to the regular education system. For 1 school year, the pupil is given intense and individual support in their studies by an OKAN teacher.
Under Documenten you can download all letters that were handed out and other important documents (including the school rules).
